OFFICIAL TDF 1 ANNOUNCEMENT:

Today we're kicking off the 9th week of Texas Domination Fest 1 band announcements. As if it wasn't already a forgone conclusion, Most people assumed and probably even anticipated that my band would eventually be getting added to this sick TDF lineup, and today I am here to do just that with announcement number 26 of 34. Virulent Excision was formed in Chicago in late 2019 amidst the chaos of the pandemic, we released our first 5 song EP "Drug-Induced Psychosis (2020), which was then followed by two killer 4-way split albums "Heinous Interstellar Malformations" (2021) with Gravitational Distortion, Gerogot and Facelift Deformation. Then came split #2 "Acts of Sadistic Cruelty" with Kill Everything, Necroticgorebeast, and Gorepot (2022). Shortly prior to the release of split #2, the band underwent a major lineup change, but I still managed to pull off a few fest appearances the past 2 years with various fill-in members. Currently, with my recent relocation the band is now officially a Texas based export, and the new studio lineup is hard at work writing the debut full-length album for Comatose Music, which will hopefully see release later this year.
